AIMS offers excellent and fully furnished hostel facilities. The rooms are arranged in a vibrant environment which facilitates constant interaction of students among themselves leading to community learning. AIMS offers separate boarding and lodging facilities for boys and girls and to the visitors. The students are provided spacious furnished accommodation.

Separate boys and girls hostels are facilitated with 60 rooms each, excellent kitchens, dining hall, hot water and Aqua guard facility , TV Hall with projector.

Procedures and policies for maintaining & utilizing Infrastructure

The classrooms for management students are well maintained with ergonomically designed seating configuration providing the beneficial environment for focused learning. All the classrooms are equipped with LCD projectors and audio-visual teaching aids for facilitating the learning process.

AIMS Library is a treasure house of Knowledge and Information. Through both traditional and contemporary services the Library enriched and enhanced the academic experience of AIMS Students and prepares them to be information-literate lifelong learners.

AIMS Library houses more than 8,000 printed resources which include books, bound volumes of journals, thesis and students’ reports. The library collection includes the key works of reference pertaining to the subjects like Marketing management, Finance, Human resource management, operations management, Economics etc. In addition the Library has a growing collection of CDs/DVDs, videos.

National and international periodicals are subscribed, both in hard and digital forms, enabling users to keep up to date with the latest trends in their particular fields. The library also offers online access to databases with articles from hundreds of newspapers, magazines, trade journals and scholarly publications.

Fully adapted for Wi-Fi, the library offers Internet access to the students.

User-friendly library software called ‘Easylib’ has been adopted at the Library. This software facilitates automated circulation (issue & return) of the books and speedy access, locations and availability information of the books and other non-book stocked in the library.

  • Reading Room: Spacious, well equipped, adequately ventilated, ultra-comfortable and well-illuminated reading room.
  • Books: AIMS KRC is enriched with more than 3030 titles of Management books with more than 6600 volumes.

AIMS campus has conveniently located parking available for visitors, students, staff and faculty. Separate parking lot is given for two wheeler and four wheeler.

Computer Lab

The blooming technology has taken deep roots in every field now a days. It is impossible for anyone to imagine a world without high computing environment. In the management field, I.T. plays a vital role directly or indirectly. In order to meet the challenges of modern learning and to keep abreast with the global scenario, all the students at AIMS have Laptops as a part of the standard study kit and the campus is Wi- Fi enabled. The Institute is equipped with state-of-the-art computing facility. All the students have free access to the Computer Labs to do their work any time of the day. The high speed internet connectivity provides an extended access to vast intellectual resources.

Language Lab

This is one of the most distinguished facilities at AIMS. A state-of –the –art Language Lab is set up to facilitate learners to pick up fluency in English spoken language by use of interactive media and through instructions by the teacher present in the language laboratory. The language laboratory at AIMS is here with the objective of grooming and training students with the Basic Spoken English Fluency.

Anekant Education Society has huge playground where a track of 400 mt. for running, volley ball court, basket ball court, football ground kabbaddi and khokho ground is available. The area of ground is around 17 acres.

Jeevraj Sabhagruh

Jeevraj Sabhagruh is an auditorium with capacity of 450 comfortable seats. Total area of 8075.98 sq. ft. which is used as a multipurpose hall to organize various academic activities, functions like induction programme, prize distribution, Anekant Education Society foundation day, workshops, seminars, conferences and competitions. It is also made available to other firms, organizations and institutions to organize their educational, social and other activities.

Institute has spacious canteen facility in the campus. A variety of Maharashtrian and south Indian food and snack items are provided to the students and staff of the Institute with highest quality. Canteen has a big kitchen and kitchen staff takes extra care to provide the students and staff with nutritious and hygienic food in the campus canteen. Food items are prepared with RO treated water. Canteen is open from 8:00 AM to 9:30 PM on all working days.

Institute has ICT enabled board room where Governing Council, CDC, and Staff Meetings are organized and held. Various presentation of SIP students, Viva and Interviews are also conducted in board room.

We, at Examination Centre, envisage the radical reforms in traditional examination and assessment system. We are working in line with SPPU’s recommendations towards evolving a credible, valid, effective and transparent examination system that responds confidently to the challenges and newer demands of knowledge society. We have set ourselves for adopting latest technology to facilitate easy interface for exchange of information between University, faculty and students.

Our Objectives

  • Devise and monitor strategies and implementation of useful examination practices at the institute.
  • Online mode of examination conducting that will help generate quick student results to optimize time and eliminate errors.
  • Create question banks for various courses to facilitate students in their study.
  • Inform and train teaching and non-teaching faculty members about the conduct and organization of examination and examination material.
  • Strengthen Student Facilitation Centre for prompt response and delivery of student queries.
  • Coordinate with all other higher and regulatory agencies to ensure credibility and stability to examination system.
  • Conduct result analysis after completion of each half of the year and built up measures to improve student performance.

Exam Plan

At AIMS Baramati, we conduct one Mid-Term Internal Exam and one End-Term Internal Exam in each semester. We also conduct Online Internal Exam of each Generic course. The schedule of Exams is pre-decided as per the Academic Calendar.

Exam Results

It is an endeavor of Exam department to declare timely results to students. In order to achieve this, as a rule we complete the assessment of answer papers within 48 hours of conduct of exam and declare the results. We also request students to personally meet the faculty members see-check-evaluate their performance and get a feedback that helps them score better in times to come.

We conduct Online Exams using latest software like Pro-Profs etc. which are the best in its class to conduct and evaluate the examination. These examinations provide dummy environment for students, which help them to be confident while appearing for University examinations. Also, our IT lab is updated with latest software as per the recommendations of SPPU.

University Examination Centre

As far as External University Examinations are concerned complete care is taken that each and every rule of SPPU is followed at the Institute. Very strict discipline is maintained and stern actions are taken in case of misconducts.

Structure of Exam Department & Functions

Positions Duties & Responsibilities
C.E.O. In faculty meeting, the director appoints College Examination Officer (CEO) who is responsible for planning and conducting smooth functioning of exams and squarely meeting the decorum and discipline of the exams. He has to work consecutively for three years as per University norms. The director provides operational autonomy to the CEO. The CEO monitors the examination activities and takes necessary decision related to non-adherence of rules by faculty in consultation with the Director. Decision regarding the leaves of the faculty during examination and any adjustments regarding invigilation are looked after by the CEO. Generally External Senior Supervisor for the examination is appointed by the University, but during any form of contingency/exigency, CEO makes necessary arrangement and thereby takes the decision to appoint an External Senior Supervisor from nearby colleges. CEO at AIMS exercises complete autonomy in case of student related issues such as regenerating missing token numbers of students at University end during online examinations. During theory examination, students’ queries in question papers are communicated to the university by the CEO and the later gets it resolved subsequently in time.

Online Jr. Supervisor Report Submission on the day of Exam completion. Take final Decision on Copy Cases in discussion with External Sr. Supervisor. Report making & submission to CEO. Making sure the timely submission of Answer sheets to CAP.

Examination Centre display time notices of all Internal and University Exams and also sends sms of latest updates to students. Institute has Exam centre room with state of art facility & furniture.Thus Exam Centre at AIMS Baramati is best of its kind and has been appreciated by visitors academic and corporate both.
